Copa Airlines to Launch Direct Flights Between Panama City and San Diego Starting June 25, 2025
Panama‘s global connectivity is set to reach new heights this summer as Copa Airlines introduces direct flights between Panama City and San Diego, California. Beginning June 25, 2025, this new service will operate four times weekly, offering unprecedented access between Panama and the southwestern United States.

Enhanced Connectivity for Panama Property Owners
The new route represents a significant development for Panama’s real estate market, particularly for properties in Panama City and surrounding areas. Operating on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, these flights will depart Panama’s Tocumen International Airport at 1:16 p.m., arriving in San Diego at 6:15 p.m. Return flights will leave San Diego at 8:58 p.m., landing in Panama City at 5:20 a.m.
